How do I manage my notifications?

You can choose which notifications you receive — and how — from your OpenSea account settings. On web, you can manage Live alerts and Email. On mobile, you can manage Email and Push notifications.

Make sure you have a verified email address saved to your profile. Without one, email notifications will not be sent.

Only emails from the domain "opensea.io" are from us. Watch out for scam emails that appear to come from OpenSea.

Changing your notifications on Web

  1. Click your profile icon, then click Settings.

  2. Click Notifications.

  3. Toggle the Live alerts or Email switch on or off for any category.

Each category has its own toggle for Live alerts and Email:

  • Offers — Offers and collection offers you receive

  • Trading — Sales, purchases, transfers, and price changes

  • Perpetuals — Perpetual position alerts, including liquidation warnings

  • Social — Followers, reactions, and activity from people you watch

  • Drops — Mint activity and drop stage reminders

  • Rewards — Reward claims, shipments, referral codes, and allowlist updates

  • Account — Account and collection verification, plus status updates

Changing your notifications on Mobile

  1. Tap your Portfolio icon, then tap the gear icon.

  2. Tap Notifications.

  3. Tap Email Notifications or Push Notifications.

  4. Toggle any category on or off.

Mobile uses the same categories as web. Push notifications also include a Profit and Loss category with a Customize option to fine-tune those alerts.
