How can I migrate my existing accounts under one account?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

This article describes the process of migrating multiple profiles with usernames into one account and is not applicable to all users.

If you currently use a single wallet and profile on OpenSea but would like to link an additional wallet, follow the instructions in our Help Center guide here.

On OpenSea, you can migrate all of your crypto wallets together under one account, streamlining your experience on OpenSea and enabling you to claim a single username across wallets. Linking wallets also makes it easier to collect rewards across the EVM, AGW, and Solana blockchains.

You can link up to ten of your own wallets to one OpenSea account. You can unlink linked wallets at any time.

When you log into OpenSea and have existing profiles linked to one account, you’ll be prompted to select a username for your unified profile. You can pick from an existing wallet username or create a new one.

You’ll also be able to set preferences for your wallet visibility. You can choose which wallets appear on your public profile, and which ones should remain hidden. Your account profile and all public wallets will be visible to all OpenSea users.

Hidden wallets stay linked to your account, but their link to your account profile will not be visible to others. They will still remain searchable on OpenSea.

At any time, if you’d like to link additional wallets, navigate to Settings and click Linked Wallets, or click on your profile dropdown on the right side of the page and click Link a wallet. You can also link wallets from your rewards profile. For more information about how wallet linking works with respect to our rewards program, visit our Help Center guide.

All linked wallets will appear in the Linked Wallets page within your settings.

Click the three-dot menu to add a private label for your wallet (for example, “cold wallet”), to edit that wallet’s profile, to make the wallet link private or public, or to unlink the wallet.

When you visit your account’s profile, you will see all the items you own across your linked wallets. However, other users will only be able to see links between public wallets.

Link an additional wallet by clicking Link a Wallet. Select from the list of wallet providers. You may need to switch wallets in your browser extension, if you're attempting to link an additional wallet from the same browser extension. When you're ready, click Link wallet to account.

What happens if I link a wallet to another account?

If you attempt to link the same wallet to a new account that is already linked to another account, unlink the wallet from your other account and then proceed with linking it to your new account.

It isn’t possible to link multiple email login wallets to the same account, and it’s also not possible to unlink email login wallets.
