We’re excited to support multiple Solana wallets on OpenSea, including Glow. Glow is a fast, easy-to-use wallet for Solana.
Glow is available to download on iOS, Chrome, Brave, Edge, and Firefox. To install Glow, visit glow.app/download and choose the platform you're interested in.
Please note that at this time, you can only send SOL and NFTs from Glow using the iOS app. Glow hopes to support sending tokens on their browser extensions soon.
Creating Your First Wallet
If you don’t have a wallet yet, Glow’s site can help create one for you. After you download Glow, click Create New Wallet and go through the flow to get set up.
Once you have your wallet, you’ll be able to receive SOL, along with NFTs and coins in the Solana ecosystem.
If you want to buy SOL with your local currency, depending on your locale, you can hit “Buy” in Glow to purchase some SOL using MoonPay. You can also use exchanges to buy SOL and then transfer those funds to your Glow wallet.
Importing a Wallet
If you already have a Solana wallet, you can import it into Glow. You’ll first need to find your recovery phrase. Click on the settings wheel in Glow, then click Import Wallet. Next, paste in the Recovery Phrase and click “Import by Phrase.”
Buying an NFT on Desktop
If you want to buy an NFT using your Glow wallet on OpenSea, you’ll need to approve two prompts:
- You’ll need to allow OpenSea to connect to your wallet when you log in with Glow for the first time
- You’ll need to approve the transaction after clicking Buy now or when making a bid
You’ll be able to view your transactions by clicking on the lightning bolt at the bottom of your Glow extension.
How to send NFTs and SOL in Glow (and include a note!)
You can use Glow to send SOL or your NFT to a friend, or to another wallet.
To do so, click send on your home screen, select the token you’d like to send, choose who you’d like to send it to, and write a note (optional). Preview and then confirm the send.
If you have an iPhone, you can turn on notifications so you know when someone sends you something.
