There are some unique aspects about the experience of listing a Solana item for sale using OpenSea during our beta experience!
We’re excited to test, learn and improve the Solana experience based on user feedback. To start, you’ll notice a limited number of Solana creators and collections on the platform; but our hope is to welcome Solana’s entire creative community into OpenSea as soon as possible, and make NFTs accessible to more people.
Can I list my Solana item on multiple marketplaces?
Many other Solana marketplaces, such as MagicEden, require users to escrow, or temporarily lend an NFT, to the marketplace when listing it for sale. Solana users on OpenSea can list items for sale while still maintaining possession of their NFTs. However, you won't be able to list your item on multiple marketplaces until they remove the escrow requirement.
For the same reason, if you’ve already listed your item for sale on OpenSea, and then list it on another marketplace later, your listing on OpenSea will be rendered inactive and will no longer be live on OpenSea, since the NFT has been transferred to the other marketplace’s escrow account.
Solana users on OpenSea benefit from escrow-less listings. You'll be able to use your NFTs on other platforms – including games, Discord communities, and virtual worlds or galleries – even while your item is listed for sale. You’ll have the freedom to use your NFT as you like until after it’s sold!
Will items in my collection that are not for sale still appear?
Many marketplaces will only display collection items that are actively for sale, but on OpenSea, all items in your collection minted prior to our beta launch are displayed. This means that users on OpenSea can explore all items in a Solana collection, not just the items listed for sale. Owners can receive offers for NFTs that they own but haven’t listed, and can accept those offers without having to list their item for sale!

If I buy a Solana item on another marketplace, will it show on my profile on OpenSea?
At this time, only the Solana NFTs you’ve purchased using OpenSea will be visible in your account, and only transaction events that take place using OpenSea will show in the item’s history. However, you’ll be able to view all your NFTs in your Phantom wallet.
Why are collection counts incorrect?
On Solana, it’s very common for NFTs to be sent to burn addresses, which have no owners and can’t be purchased. You may see a Solana collection with inconsistent item/stats counts for this reason. This is expected, and simply means some of the NFTs in the collection have been sent to a burn address.
