Connecting your Twitter to your profile adds another layer of authentication for users on OpenSea. Let’s get started!
Connecting your Twitter account
1. Navigate to your Profile icon and select Settings.
2. Under the Social Connections heading, click Connect on the Twitter button.
3. You’ll then be taken to a page where you’ll be asked to authorize OpenSea’s connection with your Twitter account. Your Twitter account name will be displayed in the top-right corner. Click Authorize app.
4. Your profile page will now display your linked Twitter account in the top right corner. Clicking it will redirect you to the account on Twitter, and hovering over it, you'll see "Ownership verified."
Disconnecting your Twitter account
To disconnect your Twitter account, navigate to your profile settings and scroll down to Social Connections. You'll be able to see your active Twitter connection.
Hover your mouse over your Twitter profile name, where you’ll see a “Disconnect” tooltip appear. Click on your profile name to disconnect.
You'll see a confirmation message on the bottom-right corner of your profile settings page confirming that your Twitter account has been disconnected:
You can connect your Instagram account to your OpenSea profile in order to show verified ownership of your Instagram account.
Connecting your Instagram account
1. Navigate to your Profile icon and select Settings.
2. Under the Social Connections heading, click Connect on the Instagram button.
3. You’ll then be taken to a page where you’ll be asked to authorize OpenSea’s connection with your Instagram account. Click Allow.
4. Your profile page will now show your linked Instagram account in the top right corner. Clicking it will redirect you to the account on Instagram, and hovering over it, you'll see "Ownership verified."
Disconnecting your Instagram account
To disconnect your Instagram account, navigate to your Profile settings and scroll down to Social Connections. You'll be able to see your active Instagram connection.
To disconnect your account, hover your mouse over your Instagram profile name, where you’ll see a “Disconnect” tooltip appear. Click on your profile name to disconnect.
