MoonPay is a third-party service that allows you to buy cryptocurrencies with traditional payment methods like debit/credit cards and bank transfers.
MoonPay isn't available in NY, TX, US Virgin Islands and a number of countries globally. OpenSea users located in a region that isn't supported by MoonPay will not see a buy with card filter, or any credit card option.
To get started, you'll click "add funds" on your wallet sidebar, choose the "Buy with card" option, and follow through MoonPay's prompts.
This guide explains in more detail how to add funds to OpenSea with your credit card through MoonPay.
Adding funds to OpenSea using MoonPay
You can add funds using MoonPay directly on OpenSea. To do this, head to the wallet icon, located on the top-right of the OpenSea website.
Next, click on the large blue "add funds" button.
Depending on your geographic region, you'll be able to add ETH via the "Buy with card" option.
Set the amount of ETH you want to buy, and double check that your wallet address is correct.
Next, enter your email. This will be used for your receipts.
If this is your first time using MoonPay, you'll need to set up your account by adding a debit/credit card and verifying your personal information.
After finishing verification and account setup, you'll be able to complete the payment to MoonPay.
Depending on network congestion, you should receive your funds soon after.
