How can I cancel or lower the price of NFT listings?

Updated over a week ago

This article explains how to cancel or lower the price of items you’ve listed for sale.

Canceling listings

To cancel a listing, navigate to the item and click Cancel listing.

A Cancel listing window will appear. Click Cancel listing to confirm.

To cancel listings, making them unfulfillable by other users, you’ll need to pay a gas fee. This is to withdraw the transfer authorization you previously recorded to the blockchain. Review and confirm the cancellation in your wallet.

If you can’t access your OpenSea account, you may be able to use a third-party service such as revoke.cash to remove the ability for the listing to be filled using OpenSea. Please be aware that if you use a third-party service and you re-grant approval to OpenSea to fulfill your listings at some point in the future, listings that aren’t expired or canceled may be able to be filled again. OpenSea does not make any guarantees about third-party services.

Lowering the price of listings

You can lower the price of a fixed-price listing by navigating to your item and clicking Edit listing.

Follow the prompts on your screen to set a new price and listing expiration, then click Edit. You’ll need to review and confirm the listing in your wallet.

Lowering ERC-1155 Listings

To lower fixed-price listings for ERC-1155s NFTs, head to the item page and click List 1 for Sale or head to your profile page and click List item.

Follow the prompts on your screen to set a new price and listing expiration, then click Review listing.

You’ll receive a warning message if the new listing price is below the collection floor price. Click Confirm listing price. You’ll need to review and confirm the listing in your wallet.
