Across OpenSea, there are two main ways to sell an item you own: by creating a listing, or by accepting an offer.
If there’s an active offer on your item, you’ll see the option to accept it from the item page or your profile. You’ll have the opportunity to review the proceeds from the sale before accepting:
⚠️ Be aware of common phishing attempts. "Buyers" may claim they're experiencing an error when trying to purchase an item by messaging the seller with screenshots over social media. OpenSea will never ask you to send funds in order to sell an item or resolve a transaction failure.
Learn more about staying safe in web3 in our help guide. If you're experiencing a phishing attempt, here's how to report it.
You can sell your item using OpenSea from three places: from your profile, from the item page, or from the item’s collection page.
Selling from your profile
If you’re using Collector mode, hover over the NFT you’d like to sell. Click List item to create a manual listing.
It’s possible to sell multiple items at once across the same collection or chain. List multiple NFTs by using the + icon and clicking List item(s) in the bottom bar to manually create your listing. You can only bulk-list items from the same chain.
If the item you’re listing for sale has multiple copies, you can choose to list one or more copies at once.
In the bottom bar, if there’s an offer on one of your items, you can also click Accept offer.
In Pro mode, use the “select” button to choose the NFTs you’d like to sell. Then, click List item to manually create a listing for your item using the List items button in the bottom bar. Learn more about creating a manual listing below.
Selling from the item page
Navigate to the item page for the item you’d like to sell, in Pro or Collector mode. Make sure you’re toggled into Sell mode on the item page.
If there’s an active offer, you can click Accept offer to accept it. Otherwise, click List for sale to create a manual listing.
Selling from the collection page
Make sure you’re in Sell mode using the bottom bar on the collection page. You’ll be able to sell any items you own in that collection. Select the ones you wish to sell.
If there’s an active offer, click Accept offer to accept it. Otherwise, click List item to create a manual listing.
Creating a listing
When you create a listing, you have control over how you’d like to list your item. If you have multiple copies of the same item, you can sell more than one at once.
