Features described in this article may be released as part of a phased rollout and may not be available to all users.
If something isn't working as expected in the OpenSea app, try the steps below for common issues.
Transactions failing or stuck
If a swap, purchase, or mint fails:
Check that you have enough funds in your wallet to cover both the transaction amount and network fees.
If the app shows "Transaction pending," open the **Activity** tab on your profile to check the current status.
If a transaction times out, your transaction may still have been submitted onchain. Check your profile or wallet activity before retrying.
If you see "Something went wrong, please try again," wait a moment and retry. Network congestion can cause temporary failures.
Swap errors
"Error getting quote" — the app could not find a route for your swap. Try a different token pair or adjust the amount.
"Unable to estimate network fees" — the network may be congested. Wait a moment and try again.
"Transaction signing failed" — close and reopen the app, then retry the swap.
"A transaction is already in progress" — wait for your current transaction to complete before starting a new one.
Deposit and payment issues
"Card declined" — contact your bank to authorize the transaction, or try a different payment method.
"Insufficient card balance" — use a card with enough funds or reduce the deposit amount.
"Minimum purchase amount is..." — increase your deposit amount to meet the minimum.
If Apple Pay is not appearing as an option, make sure you have a card set up in your iPhone's Wallet app.
Wallet connection problems
If the app shows "Wallet connection failed" or your wallet is not responding:
Close and reopen the OpenSea app.
Make sure your device has a stable internet connection.
Go to Settings and check that your wallet is still connected under Your Wallets.
If the issue persists, disconnect the wallet and reconnect it.
App not loading or displaying errors
Pull down on the screen to refresh the current page.
Close the app completely and reopen it.
Make sure you are running the latest version of the app from the App Store or Google Play.
Check your internet connection by opening another app or website.
If the app is still not loading, try logging out from Settings and logging back in.
Notifications not working
Open your device's system settings and navigate to the OpenSea app.
Make sure notifications are enabled and not set to silent.
In the OpenSea app, go to Settings > Notifications and confirm your preferences are turned on.
